Timberline Energy is engaged in the processing and transport of natural gas. We have extensive industry experience including power project development and design, construction and operation of natural gas pipelines, and large power projects in the US and internationally.
Founded in 2006, the Timberline Energy team brings decades of expertise to the energy industry. Since 1982, the year of our staff’s first methane recovery project and pipeline, we have been successfully developing energy projects that benefit the planet and generate income for our customers.
We are currently developing landfill gas solutions for direct-use, high-Btu gas and electricity customers. Timberline Energy and its affiliates own and operate over 200 miles of natural gas distribution pipeline. We provide natural gas transportation service to various customers, from dedicated pipelines to local distribution systems.
We provide complete solutions to recover valuable methane gas, creating benefits for both the landfill owner and the surrounding community. We work directly with you to determine whether your landfill is a candidate for a landfill gas (LFG)-to-energy project. Our comprehensive services can include design, financing, construction, ownership and operation.
Our Affiliates
Denver-based Mowood, LLC is a holding company that owns Omega Pipeline Company, LLC and Timberline Energy. Mowood is a portfolio company of Tortoise Capital Resources Corporation, the private equity arm of Tortoise Capital Advisors.
Omega Pipeline Company is a natural gas local distribution company located at Fort Leonard Wood in southwest Missouri. Omega Pipeline is currently operating under contact with the United States Department of Defense, and also markets gas to local municipalities and industrial customers.
